Cold Water Fish

history of cold fish water breeding
breeding of cold water fish has been of human interest in the distant past and dates back to 2000 years BC. Fan Lee wrote a book about fish farming 456 years BC. But what has to be kept in mind is the gradual evolution of the aquaculture sciences wich is complete in the past and incomplete in the future. The first attempt at breeding fish in natural waters was taken by a German scientist named Stephen Jacobs (1711-1784). This scientist did some very interesting research on fish biology and reproduction.0
Also Mr. Vladimir Verskaya of Russia (Russia’s greatest fisherman) is also the first founder of fish breeding in the former Soviet Union.

In Iran Dr.Motamed founded the rainbow trout breeding activity in the vicinity of the Karaj River, located in the Hesar area, which is the first salmon farmer in Iran.
Now this center, known as Alborz Caspian Company, or Karaj Fishery, represents the presence of experts and activists in the field.
May he rest in peace.
